SOFT LIFE
ABOUT
SOFT LIFE is a retreat project designed to bring together curated groups of artists, freelancers and creatively driven people seeking space to slow down.
Unlike traditional retreat models centred around a single teacher or philosophy, SOFT LIFE is built around exchange. Each gathering brings together people from different backgrounds, disciplines, ages and experiences — creating space for connection, conversation and cross-pollination.
The programme is shaped organically around the people attending. Guests are invited not only to rest, but to share practices, ideas and perspectives with one another. All activities are optional, with space for both participation and solitude.
The focus is not productivity or self-optimisation, but rest, presence and feeling good.
SOFT LIFE is not connected to any particular religion or spiritual ideology, though optional spiritual and healing practices may be offered throughout the retreat.
At its core, SOFT LIFE is interested in creating environments where people feel genuinely safe, open and held — particularly for queer, trans and marginalised creatives who can often feel isolated or less secure while travelling alone.
Blending movement, rest, nature, shared meals and creative exchange, each retreat forms a temporary community centred around softness, presence and human connection.
Somewhere between a retreat, an artist residency and a slow summer escape.
